When I first met Eden in the Philippines in 1987, I was on deployment with the Navy. After a week of liberty with Eden, she escorted me back to the base to meet my ship. As she waved goodbye, she said, "See you never." When we met again in 1989 and then married in 1990, those words became a running joke. For we did see each other again, and we will see each again, still. For I know she waits for me with all the Saints and Faithful Departed.
